Labour Court recommends Guinness Ireland deliver Cold Flow kegs with ordinary Guinness

In 1997, the Labour Court recommended that Guinness Ireland's drivers carry Cold Flow and ordinary Guinness kegs in the same load under Plan 2000. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union disputed that the change was covered by the agreement and said it would increase drivers' workloads. The Court found the proposed delivery change fell within Plan 2000 and did not count as a mixed load under the plan. It recommended that the work go ahead, with the operation monitored and any problems addressed. The recommendation was dated 23 May 1997.
