Labour Court recommends £1,000 payment to each GreenCore permanent employee

The Labour Court recommended a revised grading structure and a once-off £1,000 payment to each permanent employee at Greencore Group PLC. The recommendation, in a rehearing of the dispute with the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union, was signed on 15 May 1997. The Court also recommended pro-rata payments for current part-time employees and £250 for each campaign worker. It set revised hourly rates for grades 1 to 5, increased the minimum gain from 20p to 25p an hour, and recommended annual payments for members of designated fire-fighting and first-aid teams.
