In 1995, the Labour Court recommended steps to address tensions between Irish Life Assurance PLC’s sales staff and management over the 1994 performance review. The recommendation was signed on 10 April 1995. The Court recommended Personal Financial Advisors attend managers’ meetings subject to commitments in a 15 March 1995 letter. It also recommended that Irish Life Assurance PLC and Manufacturing Science Finance monitor developments, address issues raised and review progress at the end of 1995. The Court said there was a credibility gap between sales staff and management that needed attention.
