The Labour Court did not sustain a worker’s unfair dismissal claim against Horizon T.V. Distribution Limited, finding that no question of unfair dismissal could be inferred. The recommendation was signed on 21 November 1994. The worker said he was dismissed without explanation and had not been told his work was unsatisfactory. The company said he lacked ability, was frequently late and arrived late with the smell of alcohol on his breath.
