In 1994, the Labour Court recommended that Fas and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union review staffing allocation across the Tralee employment-services unit after a dispute about grades at the Castle Street office. The recommendation was signed on 12 May 1994. The Court found Castle Street and Monavalley formed one unit and said the allocation of grades was a matter for management and the union. It recommended that they examine staffing across the unit with a view to addressing the union's concerns.
