In 1994, the Labour Court recommended that G.R.E./P.M.P.A. Group Limited and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union resolve their dispute over ending shift work for telecover staff. The recommendation was signed on 16 May 1994. The Court recommended continuing the 12.5% shift premium until 30 June 1994, followed by a lump sum equal to nine months of shift premium for claimants directly affected. It also recommended that the union and company accept the increased offer.
