The Labour Court recommended that an unnamed worker dismissed by Implementors International Limited receive a further two weeks’ pay. The recommendation was signed on 15 January 1993. The worker lost her job after the company said a business downturn meant it could not offer her a permanent position at the end of her probation. The Court said she lost her employment through no fault in her work performance or behaviour. She had been given two months’ notice.
