In 1992, the Labour Court recommended against conceding the Craft Group Unions' claim to restore external pay analogues at Irish Sugar Group Of Companies. The Court said the analogue commitment had ended in 1985 and that the changes in the company, its profitability and status did not justify restoring the system. It also considered that conceding the claim would breach the P.E.S.P.
