The Labour Court found no grounds to recommend concession of the Irish Distributive And Administrative Trade Union’s claim for local distributive trade rates for workers in Presentation Convent Tuam’s Altar Bread Room. The recommendation was signed on 20 November 1991. The Court noted that the workers’ rates had been negotiated in 1988 and that PNR and PESP increases had since been applied. It also considered the business’s commercial and financial circumstances and the hours worked.
