The Labour Court recommended that Scafform Limited pay a worker the equivalent of two weeks' pay in full settlement of a dismissal claim brought by Services Industrial Professional Technical Union. The recommendation was signed on 14 May 1990. The union said the worker contested the dismissal and received no satisfactory explanation. The company said he was unsuitable for the work and that the employment ended by mutual consent after an argument.
