The Labour Court recommended that Our Lady's Hospital, Crumlin arrange two additional overtime Sundays for Ms Byrne and pay Ms Oglesby for the afternoon she worked after her clock card went missing. The recommendation was signed on 6 November 1989. The Irish Transport And General Workers' Union had sought compensation for the two household staff members. The Court said the parties should establish whether Ms Oglesby had already been paid for the morning. It also emphasised that employees should report missing clock cards promptly to a superior.
