Labour Court recommends Mallee Print recognise Irish Print Union

The Labour Court recommended that Mallee Print And Packaging recognise the Irish Print Union for the workers it had organised at the company’s Knock plant. The recommendation was signed on 10 May 1989. Six workers at the plant had joined the union, which sought recognition and negotiating rights. The company did not attend the hearing, and the Court made its recommendation based on the evidence before it.
