In 1988, the Labour Court recommended a public service clerical assistant/typist scale for two workers at Kingdom Greyhound Racing Company Limited, following a claim by Marine Port And General Workers' Union. The recommendation was signed on 7 January 1988. The company said existing rates were adequate, while the union argued that the workers performed clerical duties without the scale associated with public service terms. The Court recommended entry at points 5 and 8 respectively.
