Labour Court recommends New Tatlers confirm workplace proposals in writing

In 1987, the Labour Court recommended that New Tatlers Hair Salon confirm in writing its acceptance of proposals in the Irish Distributive and Administrative Trade Union’s letter of 10 October 1986. The recommendation was signed on 30 October 1987. The union sought implementation of matters discussed at a meeting, including working hours, overtime pay, apprentice training, conduct towards staff and union dues. The company said it had implemented the proposals apart from dues collection, which it said its new payroll system could accommodate.
