Labour Court recommends 6% pay rise at Bank Of Ireland Finance

In 1987, the Labour Court recommended that Bank Of Ireland Finance Limited concede a 6% pay increase from 1 January 1987 under an agreement lasting to 31 March 1988. The recommendation was signed on 10 June 1987. The Irish Bank Officials' Association had sought a 10% increase for about 250 workers. The company had offered 3.25%, citing competitive pressures, labour costs and the need to maintain employment.
