WRC tells forecourt manager to deem dispute closed

A WRC recommendation dated 11 June 2025 told a forecourt manager to deem his dispute with an employer closed. He said he left in December 2023 after an area manager intimidated and belittled him, changed targets and made remarks about his age and pension. The employer said he chose to retire and had not raised concerns or used its grievance procedure. The adjudication officer said the worker had accepted that he had not raised his difficulties with the employer or invoked the grievance procedure. The officer made no recommendation in his favour.
