Labour Court disallows Kathleen O’Connor Fleming’s appeal after finding complaint out of time

The Labour Court disallowed Kathleen O’Connor Fleming’s appeal over her penalisation complaint against Kerry Parents And Friends Association, finding it was brought outside the time limit. The Court dated its determination 30 November 2017. Fleming said she had been penalised after making a bullying complaint to the association in 2011. The Court found the alleged acts did not fall within the six-month period ending 14 March 2016, and affirmed the adjudication officer’s decision. The merits were not decided.
