Equality Officer Gerardine Coyle found that Analog Devices B.V. did not discriminate against Mr. Govind Basnet in pay. The decision was dated 30 April 1998. Mr. Basnet claimed equal pay with Eileen Roe, saying they performed like work. The officer found their work was not the same, but that the differences between their tasks were of small importance overall. She accepted that Ms. Roe received higher appraisal rankings and market adjustments, and found that grounds other than sex explained the difference in pay.
