The Labour Court could not hear Roman Hostak’s appeal against the Equality Tribunal’s strike-out of his discrimination case against Chubb Ireland Group. The Court dated its determination 15 June 2009 and found it had no statutory jurisdiction to hear an appeal against a strike-out for want of prosecution. The merits were not decided.
