The Labour Court dismissed Vadym Kalinin's appeal and affirmed the Adjudication Officer's decision in a determination signed on 5 January 2018. The decision had found no discrimination, harassment or victimisation by Structured Finance Management (Ireland) Ltd. Kalinin argued that a computer procedure, colleagues' comments about his lunch and being escorted from the building after his dismissal amounted to discrimination or harassment. The Court found that he offered no evidence and established no facts from which discrimination could be presumed. It also noted that only two days of his employment fell within the six-month period before he brought his complaint.
