The Labour Court set aside a ruling that Denis Delaney’s disability discrimination complaint was out of time and referred it to the WRC for a fresh investigation and decision. The determination was signed on 1 December 2017. Delaney said his dismissal was the latest act of discrimination. He and Grant Engineering (Ireland) Unlimited Company agreed that the dismissal took place on 8 January 2016, rather than 8 December 2015. The Court found the complaint was made within six months of the dismissal. It did not decide whether discrimination occurred; the merits were not decided.
