The Labour Court upheld the decision that Allied Logistics Limited T/A Allied Foods did not discriminate against Ewelina Druciarek Wojcicka when her fixed-term employment ended. The Court accepted that restructuring after the loss of contracts was the sole reason her contract was not renewed. Its determination was signed on 5 December 2016. Wojcicka had alleged discrimination based on gender or family status, saying she was replaced while on maternity leave. The Court rejected that appeal. She withdrew her separate appeal about access to employment, and the Court affirmed the earlier decision on that complaint.
