The Labour Court dismissed a worker’s appeal and upheld the Equality Officer’s decision rejecting claims of sexual harassment, harassment on age and nationality grounds, and victimisation. The determination was signed on 22 May 2009. The worker withdrew claims of harassment on marital-status, sexual-orientation and religion grounds at the appeal hearing. The worker said colleagues had harassed him and that his fixed-term employment ended because he complained. The Court found no evidence supporting the harassment allegations and accepted that his contract ended when its term expired. It also found no basis to conclude that his employment ended because he had complained under the Acts.
