In its determination dated 8 March 2021, the Court found the preschool had breached the Organisation of Working Time Act by failing to pay outstanding holiday pay when Smith’s employment ended. The preschool accepted that €486.72 was due and said it paid that amount after the hearing. The Court said the €1,000 award included the €486.72 holiday pay and was payable within six weeks.
