The Labour Court rejected Biodecon Services Limited T/A Six Log Solutions' appeal and upheld €3,000 compensation for Michael Hogan over annual-leave and public-holiday breaches. The determination was signed on 11 November 2021.
Hogan said he had not been paid when he took annual leave or for public holidays. The Court found the company's method of paying annual leave breached the law and that the contract did not show public holidays were included in the stated 9% allowance. It upheld €2,500 compensation for the annual-leave breach and €500 for the public-holiday breach, payable within six weeks of the determination.
