Labour Court dismisses Vasile Buza’s appeal over Mace’s employer status

The Labour Court dismissed Vasile Buza’s appeal against a finding that Mace Technology Ire Ltd was not his employer under the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997. The determination was dated 31 October 2019. At the hearing, both sides accepted that the company had not been Buza’s employer at the relevant time or at any other time. The Court affirmed the adjudication officer’s decision that the complaint was not well founded.
