Labour Court dismisses Sandor Fulpesi’s working-time complaints against Meadow Court Bar & Restaurant Limited as out of time

The Labour Court dismissed Sandor Fulpesi’s working-time complaints against Meadow Court Bar & Restaurant Limited as out of time and varied the Adjudication Officer’s decision. The determination was dated 7 October 2019. Fulpesi had alleged unpaid overtime, public-holiday entitlements and a Sunday premium. His representative attended the original hearing, but Fulpesi did not; the Adjudication Officer dismissed the complaints for want of prosecution. The Labour Court found the complaints were lodged outside the time limit and no extension had been sought. The merits were not decided.
