The Labour Court affirmed a €650 compensation award to Jakub Rudzinski after Masterlink Logistics appealed. The determination was signed on 6 January 2017. Rudzinski said he received no extra payment for working Sundays. Masterlink argued his €10.50 hourly rate included an allowance for Sunday work. The Court found Masterlink had not shown how any Sunday allowance was reflected in Rudzinski's pay and found the company breached the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997–2015.
