The Labour Court upheld a €2,000 award to Mr Thomas Justin after finding A.T.R. Truck Rental Ltd breached working-time rules on rest breaks, annual leave and public holidays. The decision was signed on 4 June 2014. The Court also upheld findings that the company had not breached rules on maximum working hours or night work. It set aside the finding on road-transport regulations because that allegation could not be decided under the law used to bring the claim; the merits of that allegation were not decided. The €2,000 award remained for breaches of the Organisation of Working Time Act.
