The Labour Court overturned a €3,000 award to Egonas Butnevicius after O' Leary International Limited's appeal succeeded. The determination was dated 12 May 2014.
Butnevicius complained that he had not received proper rest periods and had worked beyond daily and fortnightly limits. O' Leary International Limited said it learned of the alleged breaches weeks after he abandoned his truck in the UK and resigned without notice. The Court found the evidence did not support a stateable case of non-compliance and found the complaints not well founded.
