The Labour Court ordered Athenry Family Restaurant Ltd to pay Lukasz Wojikowski €15,000 after finding it had not implemented a Rights Commissioner decision. The determination was signed on 5 July 2013.
Wojikowski complained under section 28(8) of the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997, that the employer had failed to carry out the decision. No appeal against the Rights Commissioner decision was brought within the time limit.
