The Labour Court determined that Athenry Family Restaurant Limited must pay Mr Cyprian Grabia €15,000 under an unimplemented Rights Commissioner’s decision. The determination was signed on 27 May 2013.
The complaint said the employer had failed to implement the earlier decision, and no appeal had been brought within the time limit. Mr Grabia was represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union.
