The Labour Court upheld a €3,000 award to Muhammad Iqbal after dismissing his employer’s appeal. Its determination was dated 14 January 2013. Delep and Amita Malkan, trading as Indus Foods Cash & Carry, appealed a Rights Commissioner decision on breaches involving Sunday premiums, annual leave and public holidays. The Court said the employer had not produced the required records, and found serious inconsistencies in a document prepared by its accountant.
