The Labour Court directed Longford VEC to pay Margaret O’Brien €3,500 after the body failed to carry out a Rights Commissioner’s decision. The determination was signed on 18 November 2013.
O’Brien complained that the decision had not been implemented. The Labour Court noted that no appeal had been brought within the time limit and directed Longford VEC to pay the amount in accordance with the Rights Commissioner’s decision.
