The Labour Court upheld a €600 award to Ken Healy after finding Presentation Binding Ltd had not paid him for six days of accrued annual leave. The determination was signed on 15 November 2013, following the company's appeal of the Rights Commissioner's decision.

Healy said six unused leave days remained unpaid when his employment ended. The company argued that his employment ended on 29 June 2012 and that a €1,200 transfer that day included payment for 10 days of accrued holidays. The Court accepted the company’s evidence that employment ended on 29 June, but preferred Healy’s evidence about the transfer. It noted the final payslip made no reference to outstanding holiday pay and found the company had not met its liability for the six days. The appeal left the original €600 award in place.
