The Labour Court directed Nathan Clare T/A Clare Haulage to pay Vaidotas Barsteiga €7,000 under a Rights Commissioner’s decision the employer had not implemented. Barsteiga complained under section 28(8) of the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997 that decision r-099422-wt-10/EH, dated 31 March 2011, had not been carried out. No appeal had been brought within the time limit, and the Court directed payment in accordance with that decision.
