The Labour Court directed Amjad Hussein, trading as Poppadom, to pay Muhammad Youris €5,000 on 7 September 2011, after finding that a Rights Commissioner’s decision had not been implemented. Youris had complained that his former employer failed to carry out the decision, which had not been appealed within the time limit. The Court determined that Hussein must pay the amount in accordance with the Rights Commissioner’s decision. Youris was represented by the Migrant Rights Centre Ireland.
