The Labour Court determined that E.Z. Drill Limited pay Maris Birkenfields €500 under a Rights Commissioner decision the employer had not implemented. The determination was signed on 14 January 2010. Birkenfields brought the complaint under section 28(8) of the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997. No appeal had been brought against the Rights Commissioner decision within the time limit.
