The Labour Court reduced the €7,500 award to €2,500 to Igor Ostojic after Clare Civil Engineering Limited appealed a working-time decision. The determination was signed on 10 September 2010. The Court found that the company provided the required breaks and that Ostojic did not work more than an average of 48 hours a week. It found that on several occasions he was denied 11 consecutive hours' rest. Record-keeping breaches were offences, not matters an employee could raise by complaint. The Court awarded €2,500 for the rest-period breaches and amended the earlier decision.
