The Labour Court reduced Leslie O’Brien’s €4,500 award to €2,500 and added payment for 2½ days of annual leave after Traffic Management Services - Carra Celtic Ltd appealed. The determination was signed on 23 March 2009. O’Brien complained of excessive weekly hours, inadequate rest breaks and insufficient notice of overtime. The Court found inadequate record-keeping, a breach of the maximum working-hours rule and breaches concerning annual-leave pay. It varied the Rights Commissioner’s decision.
