The Labour Court directed Waterford Manor Hotel Ltd to pay former employee Rubis Maksim €2,500 after determining that the hotel had not implemented a Rights Commissioner's decision. The determination was signed on 18 January 2008. Maksim complained under section 28(8) of the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997. The Court recorded that the earlier decision had not been carried out and that no appeal had been brought within the time limit. It directed payment in accordance with that decision.
