The Labour Court dismissed Eblana Trading Services Ltd T/A Maxol’s appeal and affirmed a €190 compensation award to Eamonn O'Connor for unpaid holiday entitlements. The determination was dated 20 July 2005. The employer did not attend the Labour Court hearing, and the Court dismissed the appeal for want of prosecution. O'Connor had worked part time for the company from June 2002 to September 2004. He sought €187.78 after claiming holiday entitlements remained unpaid when his employment ended. A Rights Commissioner had awarded him €190 after the employer did not attend that hearing.
