The Equality Tribunal dismissed Mr A’s complaint against An Insurance Broker as frivolous and vexatious in a decision dated 11 March 2015. The merits were not decided. Mr A said an advertisement quoted €280 for a female driver and that a website quote for a male driver was €324. The Equality Officer found that Mr A had not obtained an insurance quote for himself or taken out insurance through the broker, and that no service transaction involving him could be changed by a decision.
