Equality Officer Conor Stokes found that a complainant was not discriminated against after she could not obtain a wheelchair-user ticket for an international match. The decision was dated 18 December 2012. She said the National Sporting Organisation limited the accessible-ticket allocation, leaving her unable to attend. The organisation said tickets were allocated free to regular wheelchair users and that it shared its policy with disability organisations. The officer found that tickets were allocated four weeks before fixtures on a first-come, first-served basis. By the time a complainant contacted the organisation, the allocation had been distributed and she was told a ticket could be arranged for a later fixture. The officer was not satisfied that she had been treated differently from other prospective match-goers.
