An Equality Officer found in favour of a general hospital on a disability discrimination complaint brought by Ms A on behalf of her brother, Mr B. Dated 7 September 2010, the decision found that Mr B received medical treatment on the same terms as others in similar circumstances and that his discharge was a matter of clinical judgment. The officer also found no failure to provide reasonable accommodation in the discharge arrangements. The victimisation complaint was withdrawn at the hearing.
