The Workplace Relations Commission found Margaret Folan Joe’s Payment of Wages Act complaint against the Health Service Executive was not well founded. The decision was dated 21 August 2025, and no award was recorded. Joe said her complaint concerned pay from 1 September 2019 to 31 December 2021 and that she had waited for the HSE’s response to her queries. The HSE said the pay question had been addressed in a Labour Court recommendation and argued the complaint was outside the time limit. The WRC found it had been referred well outside the cognisable period.
