The Workplace Relations Commission has found that Cormac Mohally was constructively and unfairly dismissed by Circus Factory CLG and directed the company to pay him €12,000 compensation. The decision was dated 8 August 2025.

The WRC found that three complaints against Mohally were withdrawn and later reinstated without a documented reason. It also found that he was suspended on full pay without prior notice, reasons or a chance to respond, and was excluded from workplace functions and decisions. Circus Factory denied constructive dismissal, saying it acted professionally, there was no fundamental breach of contract and he had not raised a formal grievance.
