The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Marco Pozzuolo’s complaint that Infosys Bpm Limited penalised him after he took a day of annual leave without receiving a response to his request. Adjudication Officer Pat Brady’s decision was dated 23 June 2025. Pozzuolo said a warning followed his absence. The company said there was no formal warning, only a documented conversation, and that its failure to respond to the leave request was not unlawful. Brady found no disciplinary sanction, protected act or penalisation, and concluded that no breach had been established.
