WRC finds Concentrix dismissal was not unfair

The Workplace Relations Commission found that Tania Elena Zorrilla Preciado was not unfairly dismissed by Concentrix Srev Europe Limited after her role became redundant. In a decision dated 28 August 2025, the adjudicator found the closure of the client account created a genuine redundancy situation and that the company made reasonable efforts to find her another role. The adjudicator said available roles were shaped by clients’ requirements for language, location and skills, and found no evidence that age influenced the redeployment process. Zorrilla Preciado’s separate equality complaint was withdrawn. No award was recorded.
