WRC rejects security officer’s dismissal and redundancy complaints against Ocs Group Ireland

The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Mark Carter’s constructive-dismissal and redundancy complaints against Ocs Group Ireland. Adjudication Officer Dónal Moore’s decision was dated 12 August 2025. Carter said he was forced to resign after being removed from a customer site and not offered other work. Ocs Group Ireland said he resigned, had not used its grievance procedure and had been offered another assignment. The WRC found he had not formally raised a grievance before resigning and that the evidence did not establish a redundancy.
